Harrisburg, Pennsylvania offers access to the Susquehanna River waterfront and City Island, with riverfront walking paths and minor league baseball in the center of the city. Downtown Harrisburg includes the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex and the Whitaker Center, giving travelers a mix of government landmarks and performing arts within a short drive.
