Entry Level Tire TechnicianManchester NH - Manchester, NH 03109OverviewSalary Range $19.00 - $19.00DescriptionNo experience needed! We are committed to training the right candidate for an entry-level tire technician position.We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and interested in beginning a career in the tire industry. In this role, you are able to gain experience with various tires and equipment.Sign On Bonus: Paid at successful completion of 3 months, another at 1 year!Requirements:Responsible for changing primarily passenger, light truck, loader, farm, ATV and/or lawn and gardenPerform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheelsRemove or replace mounted tire assembly from vehiclesAbility to recognize repairable tires and properly perform repair and discard tires that are not repairableCommunicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoicesPerform all tasks in a safe and efficient mannerUse all provided safety equipment such as gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, air cages, safety glasses and communicate equipment needsReport all tools or equipment that need repair or that are broken and report all unsafe actions, problems or abnormal situations to the store manager or safety managerPerform daily maintenance of tools and equipmentReview service work orders for complete information such as required customer information, repairs, mounts, new tires, valves before giving to the store managerEnsure that all products leave with proper paperworkAs needed, perform miscellaneous job duties to ensure prompt services to our customerWilling to make customer satisfaction a number one priority, must be flexible and understand that job priorities will constantly change due to customer needsEquipment: Capable of operating lift gates, service tools, air compressors, hydraulic jacks, air guns, air gauges, mounting and balancing machines, and computer and office equipmentPhysical Demands:Exerts 75 to 125 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands), and identifies and distinguishes colors. Occasionally climbs (ascends or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like), balances.
